The Chaudelune Vin de Glace "Ice Wine" is a particular sweet white wine obtained from the night harvest, produced in Val D'Aosta by the winery Cave Mont Blanc located between the municipalities of Morgex and La Salle, The vineyards reach 1200 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mont Blanc and are the highest in Europe. The grape used in the production of this wine is 100% Prié Blanc, harvested after the first frosts at temperatures between -6 and -10, thus obtaining a particular concentration of sugar.It is produced a sweet for a part of the harvest, with subsequent cold maceration and aging in various woods. The other part is left in the vineyard to freeze.
Chaudelune features
A golden yellow colour. The aroma is intense with a predominance of aromatic herbs such as oregano, thyme and mint and a finish of honey and apricot. On the palate it is intense with clear notes of apricot that combine with hints of cedar and lemon.

It is recommended to serve at room temperature. It is a very particular wine with a strong personality suitable to drink alone or with blue cheeses.
