Syrah "RINAZZO" PELLEGRINO

Rinazzo, sandy territory, of "rena", almost desert. It is from these extreme conditions that from Syrah grapes comes a structured, soft and spicy red. For the production of this label are used 100% Syrah grapes. The origin of the viticulture falls in a restricted area of the island of Pantelleria. The vinification after the period of harvest that falls in the last decade of August to the first decade of September. Long maceration at controlled temperature until completion of alcoholic fermentation. Aging of at least 24 months in steel tanks and barriques.

Features of this Syrah

The wine has an intense red color with garnet reflections. The perfume has floral notes of rose accompanied by aromas of pomegranate and red fruits, with hints of black pepper. The taste is soft and structured, with spicy notes of cloves, pleasant hints of cherry and plum and hints of rosemary.

Recommended pairings tasting this Sicilian wine

A wine to pair with grilled red meat, stews, boiled and stuffed pasta. The optimal serving temperature is 18ºC in a large glass that promotes oxygenation.
