Wine list | Albarossa |
This Albarossa from Castello di Neive winery based in Piedmont is produced with 100% Albarossa grapes, grown in the company's vineyards: this vine was born from a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera at the beginning of the last century. After the manual harvest in September we proceed with soft pressing of the bunches and subsequent vinification; the must then ferments in steel and then passes into large barrels for 12 months.
Characteristics of this Piedmontese wine
To the organoleptic examination it appears as a wine with an intense ruby red color; to the nose it has strong hints of red fruits with a balsamic finish; on the palate it is full-bodied, structured and with an excellent balance.
