Rosé "448 slm" GIRLAN

This wine is composed by a refined blend of local grapes: Lagrein, Pinot Noir and Vernatsch. It praises the denomination IGT Dolomiti. The vineyards are cultivated on deep soils full of sand, that are ideal for Lagrein. This variety is really diffused in Adige Valley and Bassa Atesina. Pinot Noir and Schiava come from the sunny hills of Cornaiano. The traditional harvest is manual. The wine-making considers that part of the must is submitted to 12 hours maceration without stalks. After the pressing of the grapes starts the aging, that is managed for 5 months in steel.

Features of the “448 S.L.M." rosé wine

The aspect expresses a cherry pink colour, light and shiny. Its perfume is characterized by wild fruits, currant, strawberry. The taste doesn’t delude the expectations created by the sense of smell. It is pleasant, delicate and persistent.

This product is excellent with Mediterranean dishes, cold cuts and light cheeses. It has to be served at 10°C in a wide wine glass that allows the diffusion of the perfumes.
