Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG by Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano winery, is an excellent red wine, perfect to be paired with a multitude of typical Italian dishes from the land. It’s a Biological wine: grapes that give life to this red wine are cultivated and vinified in the most rigorous compliance with biological principles. Bunches are harvested and selected, then fermentation occurs for 12 days at a temperature of 28-30°C. After fermentation, wine is refined for 7 months in oak barrels in the underground cellars of Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano. Then, after bottling, wine will age for 5 months in cellar, at a controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this Bio Wine
It presents an intense red with violet reflections. Balanced and pleasantly tannic in taste. Bouquet conveys a well-balanced mix of moss fragrance and undergrowth sensation.
