Wine description
This Abruzzi white wine from the Collefrisio Winery is made from a blend of Pinot Grigio and Pecorino grapes. Following manual harvesting during the first ten days of October, the grapes are destemmed and then undergo maceration at a low temperature. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature and then final ageing in stainless steel.
Characteristics of this Abruzzi wine
It presents a straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The olfactory profile evokes fruity notes of apple, pineapple and mulberry but also chamomile. On the palate it has a good structure and impresses with its excellent persistence.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Abruzzo
Excellent with fish dishes: steamed hors d'oeuvres, sushi, risottos, fried and grilled dishes. Serve at a temperature of 8-10 C°.
