This Abruzzo white wine from Fantini Winery is born from a blend of Pecorino, Fiano, and Grillo grapes from the company vineyards of Abruzzo, Basilicata, and Sicily. After the manual harvest, separate winemaking is carried out in such a way that the salient characteristics are preserved for each grape variety. After pressing, cold maceration is carried out for 12 hours and pressing. The aging takes place in large 50 hectolitre barrels for Pecorino while Fiano and Grillo ferment in steel.
Characteristics of this Abruzzese white wine
It has a very delicate straw yellow color and a fruity olfactory bouquet that recalls exotic fruits such as mango, papaya, grapefruit and lime as well as floral notes of lemongrass, lemon balm and mint. On the palate it has a long persistence.
