Chardonnay Riserva "TROY" DOC TRAMIN

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in selected vineyards in Sella, this white wine from Trentino is born whose name means "path", chosen by the winery itself to symbolize the long journey of research, experiments and sacrifices thanks to which Tramin has been consecrated as one of the most important expressions in the wine world. The grapes originate from vines with an average age of 25 years placed on soils of calcareous gravel mixed with clay. Following the manual harvest that leads to a very accurate control of each single berry the grapes are placed in small containers and then pressed. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in the barriques. After a period of time of 11 months on the lees inside the barrique the wine ages further in steel for another 22 months. Followed by final refinement of 4 months in bottle.

Characteristics of this white wine from Trentino

Immediately striking to the eye for a very intense golden color and a very delicate olfactory bouquet reminiscent of flowers and citrus and notes of toasted almond. On the palate is an explosion of tropical fruit and toasting notes. Long finish and slightly mineral.

Recommended pairings with this Chardonnay

Perfect with fish dishes or pasta dishes particularly tasty. Also excellent with typical dishes of the culinary tradition of Trentino. Serve at 12-14 ºC.
