From the vinification of 100% Prugnolo Gentile grapes. The origin of the product comes from grapes from vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the area of Montepulciano. The vinification involves the fermentation at controlled temperature of 28ºC in stainless steel tanks with permanence on the skins for at least 20 days. The aging lasts for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 50 hl (50%) and in French barriques of 225 lt. The aging develops for a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
The wine shows a garnet ruby red color. The scent is that of the olfactory bouquet opens delicate, with floral and feminine notes, and then turn towards a beautiful red pulp fruit, overripe and under spirit, completed by spicy flavors and tertiary nuances. The taste is velvety tannic, with good body and excellent persistence.
