Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Antinori

The Braccesca winery produces this wonderful Nobile di Montepulciano wine which represents the tradition and the history of its producing area. It is a strong and vibrating wine with a full taste and intriguing and intense aromas. The Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG wine is produced by 90% of Prugnolo Gentile grapes and 10% of Merlot. The vinification starts with the destemming and the pressing of the grapes in a soft way. Lately they are put in stainless steel tanks for the alcoholic fermentation. After 10 days of maceration, with process which exalt the fruity and floral aromas, the wine is put in oak barrels where it stays for 12 months. When bottled the wine has to rest for further 12 months.

Characteritistics of this red wine from Tuscany

The Nobile di Montepulciano wine has a bright ruby red color with fresh and floral aromas of violet, red currant and blackberry with some cinnamon aroma. The palate is sweet and mineral. The fruity aroma is  also spicy with a long and persistent ending.

The Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG La Braccesca is perfect with meat and pasta. It is also perfect with cheeses and cold cuts. It is perfect with meat in humid or with tasty vegetable creams. It has to be served at 18°C in Grand Ballon wine glass.
