The refinement and the elegance of this wine are the expression of the La Braccesca estate an historical winery from Tuscany which works in the Montepulciano area honored by the DOCG certification. The red wine Vigneto Santa Pia is honored by the Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Riserva, one of the highest reward. It is made by 100% Prugnolo Gentile grapes. The vinification starts in the first days of October and it starts with the selection of the ripest and healthiest bunches. After the destemming, the grapes have to ferment for 20 days and then the wine is put in tonneau of 3-5 hl where it takes place the malolactic fermentation and it starts its aging period. The last period lasts 16 months and finally it is bottled. Finally, it starts a further aging period of 20 months.

The Vino rosso Vigneto Santa Pia of the La Braccesca estate is elegant and powerful. The Santa Pia has toasted tobacco aromas together with blackberry and amarena cherry. The taste is sweet, with a good structure and tannins. It ends with vanilla and red fruits aromas.

The Vigneto Santa Pia is perfect with meat in humid or braised. It is perfect with structured courses. It has to be served at 18°C in a Grand Ballon wine glass.
