The classic Verduzzo Friulano, vinified in purity by Russiz Superiore winery. The origin is the classic one of Russiz Superiore-Capriva del Friuli. Altitude: between 80 and 200 meters above sea level. Vinification and fermentation, started after harvesting the grapes that are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. The must is placed to ferment in steel tanks. Finally, the aging of the wine that is left to rest about twelve months on the lees and at least one year in the bottle.
Characteristics of this white wine
The wine has an intense yellow color with amber nuances. The aroma is intense and pleasant develops between the notes of honey, quince jam and apricot on a buttery background. The taste is oriented on sweet notes that confirm the perceived aromas and are completed with sensations of marron glacé. It turns out to be enveloping with creamy extractive mass. The finish is long and very persistent.
