A wine of great prestige and freshness. Fruit of the refined and skilful vinification of 100% pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Its origin is linked to classic Alto Adige, which vineyards are in excellent sun exposure. It is a rather dry area with sandy and gravelly soils of morainic origin. After a short maceration the pressing oft perfectly ripe grapes takes place. The must ferments half in steel and the rest in barriques. Only the latter part undergoes malolactic fermentation. After about 8 months of maturation on the lees, the two wines are blended and carefully bottled.
Sauvignon Lafòa’s features
A straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Scent is broad, intense and characterized by fruity notes with reminiscent of elderberry, acacia flowers and sage,as well as elegant hints of wood. Taste expresses tasty acidity and a long finish.
