“Rosso del Conte” was born in 1970 and was the first expression of quality and longevity in Sicily. It was desired and created by count Giuseppe and represents the feature of Regaleali estate. Produced with Perricone and Nero d’Avola, trained with sapling method in San Lucio vineyard. Its history is made of different evolutions like different types of aging: from 1970 to 1987 big chestnut barrels, Slavonia oak barrels till 1991 and then tonneaux and barriques made of French oak. It was the first wine in Sicily produced with the grapes of a single vineyard. 54% Nero d’ Avola, 26% Perricone, the other 20% is completed by the best selection of red grapes cultivated in the territories of Regaleali estate. This legendary wine represents the excellent philosophy of the company and it is still today its best expression. Deep and enchanting red, aristocratic and austere, simply beautiful.

It shows a shiny ruby red colour. The perfume recalls spices, liquorice, coffee and fruit. The taste is elegant, harmonious, fresh and soft. Its final is long, with sensations of pomegranate.
