Wine description
The Roccamora is made from 100% Negroamaro grapes cultivated in Nardò, in the province of Lecce, from vines from the average age of 20 years. The grapes are harvested by hand and gently stored in small aerated boxes to preserve their integrity. In the cellar they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this red wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color with spicy tobacco and leather aromas in a well-marked fruit finish. In the mouth it enters with a softness and a velvety structure dampened by a tannic finish that leaves a pleasantly bitter trail.
Serving suggestions tasting this Apulian wine
Excellent with stewed red meats, stewed game. To try also with dishes based on mushrooms. Serve at a temperature of 16°C in a fairly large glass.
