This refined white wine of Trentino Alto Adige is produced by the refined and prestigious Kettmeir winery, according to the most ancient local tradition, to give life to one of the most famous label in the world. The Müller Thurgau Athesis DOC of the Kettmeir winery is vinified in white with a short maceration on peels at low temperatures to optimize the perfume extraction. It follows a soft press of the grapes and the fermentation in steel tanks kept between 14-16°C. After the first pouring the wine matures on yeasts until spring time when the product is bottled after the aging, which also takes place in bottles. The grapes used belong to the local Müller Thurgau vines used at 100%.
Characteristics of this white wine from Trentino Alto Adige
The organoleptic exams exalt the straw yellow color which is typical for these grapes. It has an intense, elegant and persistent perfume which reminds the wildflowers, white pulp fruit but mostly aromatic herbs. The taste has a tridimensional progression thanks to a good structure, a good balance between acidity and aromatic taste which exalts the wideness, the persistence and the deepness of the sensations.
