From the blend vinification of Riesling and Nascetta grapes, this renowned label of Fontanafredda is born, a refined and renowned producer of Piedmont, famous all over the world. The production area is that of Castino and Serralunga. The vinification provides that the grapes delivered in boxes of 20 kg is directly pressed to obtain the must that, after a stop in static decantation for 24 hours at 10°C, is started to fermentation. At the end of fermentation the two wines are blended and then aged on fine lees for 4 months. Before the summer the wine is bottled. The wine is aged for 3 years in bottle.
Characteristics of this white wine
The organoleptic examination shows an aspect of straw yellow with green reflections. The aroma is expressed with a mineral note of Rhenish Riesling well blends with the typical aromas of Nascetta citrus, peach white flesh, laurel and rosemary. The taste is characterized by the fresh and sour note that gives a long and savory aftertaste.
