From the Blend vinification of fine Moscato di Alessandria grapes for 60% and Albanella for the remaining 40%. All grapes comes from strictly organic cultivation with no chemical intervention. The origin is the classic one of Sicily. The name of a road, for a wine that is a real journey, that of the peasants which three thousand years ago left the countryside with amphorae first and barrels then: the fruit of their labor, the effort, the joy, as well as the smell of the earth. Harvest takes place by hand during the last week of September. Vinification with indigenous yeasts follows, then maceration on the skins for 15 days. The refinement takes 6 months in concrete tanks and 1 month in bottle. No filtration.
Terre Siciliane Bianco SP68’s features
A bright straw yellow color. Clear Mediterranean references of thyme and rosemary, orange, orange blossom honey and almond. The taste has such a fascinating olfactory profile that it opens up to a decisive, fairly soft and persuasive taste. Fresh and characterized by a good acidic element, it closes with a nice finish, slightly almondy.
