This wine is made by Sangiovese grosso grapes and other local vines. The San Lorenzo of the Melini Tuscany winery is a chianti DOCG wine very refined and elegant. The vineyard is located in the Chianti hills and the vineyards are cultivated with the Guyot method and the cordon spur pruning. The soils are clay with limestone with alberese and galestro. The grapes are picked in October and after a cold-maceration for 3-4 days they ferments at 28-30°C with several pumping over. The wine refines for a short time in wood to exalt its characteristics of freshness and softness.
