Melini
The Melini winery is in Gaggiano at 300 meters above the sea level in the Classic Chianti hills along the road that connects Poggibonsi with Castellina. The Melini winery was founded in 1705 and it has always valorizes the Chianti Classico especially in the beginning when it was not still exported. Today the Melini winery owns 524 hectares in the Classic Chianti area between Siena and Florence with special and renowned farms such as the Selvanella, the Terrarossa and the Granaio. The main winery for the production of the great Tuscany wine is located in Gaggiano and there is also a cellar in San Gimignano for the wine making process and the refinement of the Vernaccia.
