Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle "Le Piagne" is an organic white wine, produced in Val D'Aosta by the Cave Mont Blanc winery located between the municipalities of Morgex and La Salle, the vineyards reach 1200 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mont Blanc and are the highest in Europe. The grape used in the production of this wine is 100% Prié Blanc from the “La Piagne” vineyard, the only “clos” in Valdigne (vineyard surrounded by walls).
Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle DOC Le Piagne’s features
A pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The scent is delicate with notes of alpine herbs and hops, and a flint finish. On the palate it is surprisingly fresh, combining the classic sensations of Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle with notes of almond and an aftertaste of hay. The finish is persistent leaving a fresh cedar sensation on the palate.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8-10°C. It goes very well with fresh cheeses, try it with toma di Gressoney’s cheese or Sant Marcel ham.
