This white wine is made from a blend of Trebbiano and Chardonnay grapes grown on sandstone and tuff soils at an altitude of 150 metres above sea level. The grapes are harvested manually at the end of September and then stored with dry ice. They are then pressed at low temperature in an inert atmosphere and fermented at a controlled temperature of 16°C in steel tanks. Maturation takes place in steel for three months with the fine lees, and ageing takes place from January following the harvest.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
It has a deep straw yellow colour and delicate, elegant aromas, primarily of bergamot. On the palate, it is dry and pleasantly mineral. The finish is long, fruity and mineral.
Recommended pairings with this Tuscan white wine
A white wine to be drunk young and extremely versatile in terms of pairings: try it with steamed fish appetisers, pasta with clams, fish main courses or white meats. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
