From a blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano and Cortese grapes comes this fruity, light white wine from this Veneto's Winery Monte del Frà: the vineyards are located in the Veronese municipalities of Sona and Sommacampagna, at about 100-150 m above sea level and on sandy, gravelly, clayey soils. Harvesting takes place between September and the beginning of October: followed by soft pressing and subsequent pre-fermentation cryomaceration. Fermentation then takes place in steel at a controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. The olfactory profile is very fine and is dominated by notes of white flowers, green apple, apricot and tropical fruit. The palate is pleasantly savoury yet harmonious, with a long fruity aftertaste.
Recommended pairings with this Veneto white wine
Perfect as an aperitif. Try it with lake fish dishes. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
