Included in the territory of the municipality of Valdobbiadene between the steepest hills of S. Stefano and Saccol. The harvest takes place from mid-September to mid-October, slightly late. Then the vinification with the soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation of the must in the absence of skins at a controlled temperature. The foaming takes place with the Charmat method with refermentation in autoclave, special pressure-tight vessels and at controlled temperature for about 30 days.
Features of this Cartizze Docg
The appearance of the wine has a light straw yellow color, with a very fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses the quintessence of the typology thanks to fruity notes of apple and pear, peach, apricot and citrus followed by hints of elder and thyme. The taste is a rich complexity rare, which opens to a soft and creamy taste, well balanced by a freshness well-defined and present. Rewarding and velvety, it closes with a finish of excellent persistence.
