Weinbeschreibung
Grapes are harvested and selected and fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C for 20 days. After fermentation, the wine is refined for 20 months in small oak barrels, then it will rest for 11 months at a controlled temperature in a cellar, after being bottled. This excellent Nobile of Montepulciano presents a deep red colour with violet reflections.
Characteristics of Rosso di Montepulciano
Full-bodied and balanced in taste, with a pleasant tannic note in the end. Its bouquet conveys a fruity fragrance with an undergrowth sensation.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It should be served in a broad crystal wine glass at a temperature of 16-18°C. One hour of decantation before serving is suggested in order to enhance its qualities.
