From the vinification of 100% pure Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes. The origin is the classic one of the IGT area of the Tre Venezie. The vineyards are grown strictly within the company limits. Harvest, which takes place by hand according to the strict regulations, follows with the vinification after also a partial drying of the grapes for about 20% for eight weeks; maceration with the cap immersed for 25 days. Aging for about 18 months in 30 - 60 hectolitre Allier and Slavonian oak barrels.
Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Sant’Helena Fantinel’s features
A very dark ruby red color. The olfactory spectrum is organized around notes of plum and black cherry, alternating with spicy and goudron scents. The taste in the mouth is soft, warm, well balanced and with a finely worked tannin. It closes with a long finish.
