Wine description
It is a wine symbol of the Veneto tradition. In fact the Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso it is cultivated since centuries and it has become a local vine. The grapes picked have to macerate for 10-15 days to obtain a smelly, soft and important wine.
Characteristics of the Refosco wine
It has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The smell is wide and fruity with black berry and blue berry aromas which make it elegant and pleasant. The taste is bodied, velvety and harmonic for the softness of the tannins.
Suggested pairings with this red Refosco wine
It is perfect with fish in humid, white and red meats and medium aged cheeses. It must be served at 18°C in a high and wide wine glass.
