Recioto della Valpolicella DOC is a red wine from Cantina Allegrini. Grapes thet give life to this wine are 65% Corvina veronese, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara and 10% comes from ancient vineyards owned by Cantina Allegrini. Fermentation occurs at a temperature of 10°C, then maceration goes on for 40 days with two reassamblies a week. Wine is then moved in oak barrels and undergoes refinement in bottle for 8-9 months.
Characteristics of this Recioto della Valpolicella
It present a deep garnet red with orange reflections. Spicy and balanced bouquet that reminds of raspberry and black cherry jam, marinate mixed berries, cocoa and ginger.

It’s perfect to be consumed with desserts, especially panettone and short pastry, it is suggested to be tried with chocolate also. It can reveal itself fascinating if tasted alone. It should be served in a small crystal glass at ambient temperature.
