Wine description
Recioto della Valpolicella DOC is a red wine from the Cantina Manara.Grapes that give life to this wine are Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%, Pelara and others 5%. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 10°C and the maceration of 40 days; this wine is transferred into stainless steel tanks for 12 months, after which the wine is aged for 12 months in bottle.
Characteristics of Recioto della Valpolicella Classico
Its colour is deep garnet red with orange reflections. Spicy and balanced bouquet that reminds of raspberry and black cherry jam, mixed berries, cocoa and ginger.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It’s perfect to be drunk with desserts, especially panettone and short pastry, we suggest to try it with chocolate also. Serve in a small crystal glass at ambient temperature.
