The “Pigato” label of the Lunae winery represents the maximum innovative expression of the tradition which are elements that the winery promotes. The “Pigato” wine has the Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC certification. The vineyards are located in west side of Liguria and the manual grape harvest takes place in the half of September . The making process takes place in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. The aging occurs in stainless steel tanks up to the end of March or April depending on the aromatic taste achieved by the wine.
Characteristics of the Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC
This young and fresh wine has a straw yellow color very light with fine green reflections. The scent is floral, aromatic with some undergrowth and flower fruit trees aromas. The taste is fresh, sapid with almond and yellow apple flavors. The final is characterized by equilibrium and persistence.
