The Montefalco Sagrantino Passito DOCG Cantina Colpetrone is produced with 100% Sagrantino grapes. After the manual harvest, the grapes are dried on special racks at a controlled temperature until they reach the right concentration; then follows fermentation with maceration at a controlled temperature of 24-28°C. The refinement continues on the fine lees for a period of 6 months.

Upon organoleptic examination this Umbrian wine shows an intense ruby red color; on the nose, hints of red fruits in alcohol and a light spicy and chocolate note predominate. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine, with elegant tannins and a robust and persistent finish.
