Lacrima di Morro d'Alba "Fonte del Re" DOC UMANI RONCHI

This sensational red wine is produced with 100% Lacrima. The vineyards are located 150-200 meters elevation, south-east/south-west exposition, in Marche. Here the composition of the soil is mainly characterized by clay. The production quantity swing from 90-100 quintals per hectare. The harvest is planned between the end of September and the first decade of October. The wine making starts with soft pressing and elimination of stalks, followed by 10 days maceration at 24°C in steel tanks, in order to preserve the perfumes. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 4 months in inox. A brief period of maturation in the bottle is needed before the selling.

Features of the "Fonte del Re" DOC wine

Intense ruby red colour with violet shades. Its delicate scent is characterized by rose, violet and undergrowth. The taste is dry and warm, with defined but silky tannins. Soft and round, it has a great persistence.
