Descrizione del vino
This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Cantina Fantini is made from pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes from the vineyards of Ortona, San Salvo, and Pollutri. After manual harvesting, the bunches are pressed and destemmed and then cold macerated for 4 days. Fermentation takes place in steel at a temperature of 24-26°C for 15 days.
Characteristics of this Abruzzese wine
It has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The complex of olfactory notes is very intense and persistent, pleasantly fruity. On the palate it is full-bodied, well-balanced and slightly tannic.
Recommended pairings with this red Fantini wine
Try red meat dishes, mushroom risottos or cheese dishes. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
