Custoza Superiore Cà del Magro DOC MONTE DEL FRÀ

From a blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Cortese and Incrocio Manzoni grapes comes this white wine from the Veneto's Winery Monte del Frà: the grapes come from vineyards more than 30 years old located in the Veronese town of Sommacampagna, at about 100-150 m above sea level. Harvesting takes place from September to October: after the grapes are picked, pre-fermentation cryomaceration takes place, followed by soft pressing. Both fermentation and final ageing take place in stainless steel on the lees, with further ageing for 6 months in the bottle before sale.

Characteristics of this Veneto wine

It has an intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose is extremely complex, with olfactory notes of white flowers, chamomile but also pear, apple, peach and mango. On the palate it impresses with great persistence.

Recommended pairings with this Veneto white wine

Excellent with fish dishes, white meat, Asian cuisine. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
