This sensational wine praises the denomination DOC Collio. It is produced in the area of Collio, where the prestigious Muzic winery operates. The vineyards are spread in the district of San Floriano del Collio, Località Uclanzi, Località Bivio. It is a blend composed by Tocai Friulano, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla, cultivated on hills soils full of potassium, characterized by marl and sands of Eocenic origin. The plants are trained with traditional guyot method and produce between 60 and 70 quintals per hectare. The manual harvest starts in the third decade of September. The wine making begins with the elimination of stalks and a period of maceration, managed at 10°C for 12 hours. Then the soft pressing and the purification of the must through static decanting. The alcoholic fermentation, that lasts 8-10 days, is managed in tonneaux made of oak, with a continuous control of the temperature, that is set on 16-18°C. The aging “sur lie” is developed the same containers and consists in continuous “bâtonnages” , from the end of the fermentation till the bottling. The maturation continues in the bottle for 12 months.

This wine is characterized by a straw yellow colour that turns to gold after some years. Its perfume is wide and delicate, with elegant hints of fruit, almond, bread croust and butter that become more spicy after a long aging.The taste is elegant, soft and sour.
