Description du vin

The Marco Felluga winery produces this sensational Molamatta Collio Bianco label with a blend of Pinot Bianco, Friulano and Ribolla Gialla grapes. The origin is that of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The name "Molamatta" is the name of the hills that identifies the area where the vineyards that produce this wine are located. For vinification and subsequent fermentation after harvest, the grapes are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. The must obtained from Pinot Blanc grapes is fermented in small oak barrels, the one obtained from the other varieties is placed to ferment in steel containers. Finally, the aging of the wine that is left to rest about a year on the lees and a few months in the bottle.

 

Features of the white wine

The appearance of the wine is golden yellow. The fragrance in the youth phase is characterized by an elegant scent of exotic fruit that evolves over time assuming personal sweet notes reminiscent of vanilla. The taste is enveloping in the mouth, fat and long, in the finish has an excellent balance.

A wine that stands out for exalting dishes with shellfish, seafood, pasta, and fish in general. The optimal serving temperature is 10 ºC in a high and wide glass.
