Fresh and fragrant, respectful of the environment and the local area, like all the wines from the Calabrian Lento winery: this white wine is made from heavy, organic-poor, and particularly alkaline soils. The vineyards face south, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The good temperature variations and constant ventilation favor slow ripening and rich aromatic profiles, resulting in a complex wine. The harvest takes place at the end of August, after partial maceration followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14°C-16°C on unclimbed must and with selected yeasts. Refinement takes place in steel for 4 months.
Characteristics of this wine from Calabria
It has a bright straw yellow color and an aromatic and mineral olfactory bouquet: white, zagara flowers, and citrus fruits such as bergamot. On the palate it is fresh, mineral with excellent persistence.
