This fabulous red wine praises the denomination Barbera D’Asti DOCG. It is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, harvested late, in order to obtain more sugar. The vineyards are located in Rocchetta di Tanaro. 20 days maceration on skins at controlled temperature. Then, 15 months aging in oak barrels (225l), followed by further 12 months in the bottle. This wine is produced only in the best years and it represents the top level of the cellar. A unique product, treated in inox, aged in French oak barriques and then in the bottle. “Barbera D’Asti DOCG Ai Suma” by Braida and Giacomo Bologna is a classy and intense red that is able to fight the years as no other Barbera can.
