The vinification in absolute purity of grapes from the vineyard of Barbera 100% bred within the business areas of the renowned winery Ratti from Piedmont. The harvest is carried out at the right degree of ripeness towards the end of September. The vinification involves the destemming-crushing of the grapes from the bunch and a subsequent alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 30ºC in stainless steel tanks the average duration provides for the maceration of the grapes on the must for at least 7-10 days. Finally the aging of about a year.
Characteristics of this Piedmont red wine
The wine has a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. The perfume is characterized by intense notes of fruit in all its variations (crunchy, ripe and in spirit), undergrowth, wild spices, macerated violet and toasted touches of chocolate and coffee. The taste is fresh and round, drinking and soft, with a long persistence.

A rich and structured wine, also suitable for a medium aging. Wine for first courses and red meats. The optimal serving temperature is 16°C in a high and wide glass.
