Originating in the small village of Albesani from which it takes its name, this Barbaresco from the Piedmontese winery Roagna is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, from vineyards located on calcareous, clayey and loamy soils. After manual harvesting in boxes, which leads to the picking of carefully selected bunches, vinification takes place: fermentation takes place in wooden vats using indigenous yeasts and lasts 10 days. Submerged cap maceration then takes place for 2 months. Maturation takes place in oak barrels for 5 years.
Characteristics of this Piedmont wine
