The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is the excellence of the Glera vineyard. It is cultivated on the Valdobbiadene slopes in the core of the DOCG area. This wine is produced by the Mionetto winery from Veneto and this wine belongs to the “Extra Dry” typology. There is a sparkling process to become extra dry with a soft pressing of the grapes and it is used the Charmat method. It matures for one year in bottle.
Characteristics of the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry
It has a bright straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The smell is floral with apple, pear and citrons aromas. The taste is acid and sapid with the right degree of sugars.
Suggested pairings with this Prosecco DOCG
It is perfect for fish, risotto, fresh cheeses but also with white meats and a light bakery. It must be served at 6°C in high and tapered wine glasses for the sparkling wines.
