This rosé sparkling wine from Albinea Canali winery is made from Lambrusco Sorbara and Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes from vineyards located in the foothills near Modena. It is produced using the Charmat method: after a first fermentation as usual, this wine undergoes a second fermentation in a steel tank at a controlled temperature, with the addition of yeast and sugar. In this way yeast transforms sugars giving life to the characteristic perlage of sparkling wines.
Characteristics of this rosé Lambrusco
The wine has a soft pink colour and a rich perlage. The bouquet of scents recalls pink, violet and wild strawberries. The palate has a good balance between the acidity of the Sorbara and the structure of the Grasparossa.
Recommended pairings with this rosé from Emilia Romagna
Try it as an aperitif and with appetizers; particularly suitable with fish dishes, to try with risotto. Excellent too as an ingredient for creating cocktails. Serve at a temperature of 6-8 turns C.
