This is a traditional red wine from Campania with the DOCG certification. It has a red color like the cultivation soil. It is made exclusively with Primitivo vines and the density is 5000 trees per hectare. The production area is the San Marzano and Sava hamlets. The soils are red, fine, calcareous and with few stones. There is a warm weather with few rains and strong thermal excursion and the area is the classic of the DOP Primitivo di Manduria. The grape harvest takes place in the first days of October and the grape is manual picked. There is a maceration for 10 days with selected yeasts and it follows the maceration at 24°-26°C. Finally there is the aging period for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. It can be aged for 7 years.
Characteristics of the 11 Filari Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale
It has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The smell is wide and persistent with ripen fruits of cherry and dry figs. The taste has a good body with honey and acid aromas.

This wine of the Campania tradition is a meditation wine. It is good with bakery with almonds, fruits pies and decided and aged cheeses. It must be served at 18°C and the proof is 13%.
