The Pinot Bianco "Tullio Zamò" of Vigne di Zamò Winery is obtained with 100% Pinot Bianco grapes, harvested in the company's vineyards of Rosazzo, Udine, in mid-September. This wine is obtained only from the free-run must from the direct pressing of the grapes. Fermentation begins in steel and then ends in oak barrels. After 10 months of aging in barrels, the wine is then bottled.
Pinot Bianco Tullio Zamò’s features
Upon organoleptic examination, this Friulian white wine shows an intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose is dominated by hints of acacia and jasmine, shades of hay and notes of ripe peach, mineral notes and references to lemon peel. In the mouth it is fresh and savory but at the same time of excellent balance, long in persistence and slightly spicy in the aftertaste.
