The label Estrosa by Pico Maccario represents the excellent quality that these territories are able to express next to some modern techniques that help to save time. We are in Mombaruzzo, in the district of Asti, where the gentle hills of Piedmont meet the first mountains of Liguria. The lands here are characterized by marls and minerals that give to the wines their typical complexity and aromatic power. The wind coming from the Mediterranean see, the great thermal excursion and the temperate climate, contribute to the excellent quality of the grapes. The product is completed by the wine-makers in the cellar, who work hard to respect and exalt the typical organoleptic features of the vine variety. Immediately separated from the skins, the juice is fermented and aged in steel tanks. The result is a fragrant, intense and harmonious wine. We are talking about a blend, composed by the most famous white grapes cultivated in Piedmont. It ages in steel for 6 months and continues its maturation in the bottle for other 6 months.
