The grape variety used for this sensational wine of the Abruzzo tradition, is that of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC. The province of origin of the vineyards is that of Teramo. For the vinification, fermentation is carried out at controlled temperature, in stainless steel, with maceration for about 20 days on the skins. It is then aged in oak barrels of 50 hectoliters for at least 12 months. The harvest takes place in artisan form, by hand in the last 2 weeks of October. The wine is left to age in bottle for at least 6 months after vinification.
Characteristics of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo "Colleventano"
Its appearance is a pure ruby red. The nose expresses intense and complex notes and hints of plums and dark fruits, violet and delicate spiciness with a hint of vanilla and cloves. The taste on the palate is full, harmonious, velvety properly tannic with a long persistence.

Excellent with first courses of red meat, second courses of grilled meat. Cheeses of good seasoning. The optimal serving temperature is 16ºC in a wide glass that promotes oxygenation.
