Montepulciano D'Abruzzo "Tertulia" DOC is produced with 100% Montepulciano grapes that are harvested in mid-October. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the maceration lasts 15 days at controlled temperature of 25ºC. The aging in bottle lasts at least 3 months and lends itself to aging.
Characteristics of this red wine
It displays a medium ruby red colour. Fruity bouquet with blackberry and fresh-picked blueberry scents and floral notes. Full-bodied taste, with the right amount of tannins, softness and a delicate savoriness. The final leaves a flavor of fruits sensation.
Recommended pairings while tasting Montepulciano wine
It should be served in glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. It needs to breath in order to enhance its characteristics, so it should be uncorked some hours before serving. It’ perfect to be paired with meat.
