This wine comes from the Cecchi winery and it is part of the Umbrian tradition. Fruit of the skilful vinification of 100% pure Sagrantino grapes. The origin is that of the territory of Montefalco in Umbria. The vinification involves the traditional use in red with prolonged maceration on the skins and controlled temperature. The fermentation lasts 15 days at 27°C. The wine is aged for 16 months in barriques and at least 8 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Sagrantino di Montefalco
An intense ruby red color. The perfume has the aroma composed of a refined and complex bouquet, within which hints of blackberry, plum, vanilla, leather and coffee blend harmoniously. The taste on the palate is complex and intense, a wine of great structure.
