Description du vin
The present bottle is a 1,5 Liters Magnum and is sold in wooden box.
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva "Cagiolo" of Tollo Winery is produced from 100% Montepulciano grapes. After the harvest at the beginning of October, the grapes are gently pressed and left to macerate for several days at a controlled temperature. It then ages in oak barrels for 2 years before being bottled and resting in glass for at least another year.
Characteristics of this Abruzzese wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color; the nose has hints of ripe red fruits combined with spices such as vanilla and cinnamon. Full, with soft tannins and with a long persistence.
Recommended pairings tasting this red wine
Perfect with tasty pasta dishes, game and stewed meats. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a fairly large glass.
