Made from 100% Vermentino Nero grapes from the municipalities of Luni and Castelnuovo Magra, this red wine from the Ligurian winery Lunae is produced: this vitigmo is native to the hills of the coastal strip of the northern part of Tuscany and the extreme part of the Levant of Liguria. After the harvest, the wine is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature , with a period of 10 days on the skins. Aging takes place in large wooden barrels.
Characteristics of this wine from Liguria
It has an intense red color and a very delicate olfactory bouquet in which floral notes of rosehip and violet emerge, spicy notes and elements reminiscent of red fruits. Fresh on the palate, with a good tannic texture.
Recommended pairings with this red wine
Try it with first and second courses of white meat, fish in guazzetto but also main dishes of red meat. Serve at 16-18 ºC.
